New Business Units and Change in Group Management

The company’s activities in the educational area will be combined in the new Education unit. Starting in July 2010 the Transport & Logistics industry solution will be marketed under the auspices of a new incorporated entity. The EBusiness and ERP segments will be maintained. Markus Binzegger, Head of the ERP unit and member of Group management, will be leaving CREALOGIX by the end of August.

CREALOGIX Education
Part of the CREALOGIX Group, the units operating in the area of Education have posted a rapid growth over the past few years. CREALOGIX competencies such as E-Learning, School Administration (CLX.Evento) and «time2learn» are market leaders in Switzerland. CREALOGIX recognizes an attractive market potential even in foreign markets especially when these competencies are combined. Until now, the activities in the area of Education were spread out over several organizational units. By consolidating them in the Education Business Unit, the Company will be better equipped to tap synergies in an evolving marketplace.

CREALOGIX E-Business
Due to the Group’s reorganization the CREALOGIX E-Business Unit will be able to focus completely on software products in the area of Web technologies and on software development. In this area CREALOGIX has been among the industry’s pioneers ever since it was founded in 1996. CREALOGIX is particularly well-positioned in the areas of Java and .Net, User Experience, Corporate Websites, Unified Communications, Collaboration as well as Mobile Computing.

CREALOGIX Transport & Logistics
With its fast-growing industry solution CLX.Transport & Logistics based on the standard Microsoft Dynamics AX software, CREALOGIX will position its international product business in the marketplace under the auspices of a separate incorporated entity. This change is a positive signal for integration partners and facilitates the further extension of an international distributor network. It also streamlines the collaboration with Microsoft. Microsoft offers significant support to CREALOGIX when it comes to the international marketing of the industry solution. In this regard, CREALOGIX received on June 15, 2010 the highest “Certified for Microsoft Dynamics” designation awarded by Microsoft to software development partners.

Due to the separation of the Transport & Logistics business, CREALOGIX will no longer operate its ERP implementation and service business in Switzerland under a separate legal entity but as another business unit. This simplifies the business structure and is to bring about further improvements in efficiency.

Change in executive management
Markus Binzegger, Head of the ERP Business Unit and member of the Group’s executive management, will leave the CREALOGIX Group at the end of August 2010 for a new orientation in his career. During his three years with CREALOGIX, Markus Binzegger marked the ERP Business Unit considerably and made a significant contribution to the new direction and growth of the Transport & Logistics unit. CREALOGIX expresses its gratitude to Markus Binzegger for his services and contribution to the growth of the CREALOGIX Group and wishes him the very best in his future career.
