SWISS posts a CHF 421 million nine-month operating result
Zurich - SWISS achieved an operating result of CHF 421.4 million for the first nine months of 2026, broadly in line with the prior-year period. Total nine- month operating income amounted to CHF 4.38 billion, up 5.3 percent on its prior-year level. Demand for air travel remained strong, while SWISS’s air cargo business also showed favorable trends. Fuel costs were substantially higher, however, and depressed earnings for the period despite the increased revenue volumes. The continuing high fuel prices also dim the broader outlook for the last quarter of 2026 and the coming year.
