Swisscom's Vivo Casa: combined packages for communication and exciting entertainment

November 15, 2010, Swisscom is launching three new combined packages for simple and versatile home communication and entertainment as part of the Vivo Casa range. The packages include Swisscom TV, Internet and transparent flat-rate offers for calls to the Swiss fixed and mobile networks, thus guaranteeing hassle-free communication. The TV service for mobile and PC - Swisscom TV air - is also part of the offer. Vivo Casa includes Swisscom's first commercial fibre-optic package. Three combined packages will be available from mid- November 2010 starting at CHF 99 per month. In addition, a new offering for the workplace aimed specifically at business customers will be available from 1 December 2010 in the form of SME Office.

Vivo Casa makes it easier for customers to choose from our product range and offers three home packages that are adapted to different requirements, says Christian Petit, Swisscom's Head of Residential Customers. The packages are marked with stars; the more stars a package has, the more comprehensive its communication and entertainment offering. The following combined packages are available: the 3* basic package for CHF 99, the 4* comfort package for CHF 125 and the 5* top package for CHF 179 per month. All packages include Swisscom TV, Internet and a flat rate for phone calls to the Swisscom fixed and mobile networks. The 5* top package even offers a flat rate for phone calls to all Swiss networks. This package also includes super-fast Internet access via a fibre- optic connection and will therefore only be available in certain regions at first. In addition, Vivo Casa customers benefit from the popular supplementary service Swisscom TV air. The package price also includes the copyright charge of CHF 2.25 per month for Swisscom TV, which until now has been invoiced separately.

Vivo Casa customers can choose to add the new International Option to their package. This costs CHF 9 per month and allows customers to make free phone calls to fixed-line numbers in all EU countries, Liechtenstein and North America during off-peak hours (between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., at weekends and on public holidays). Swisscom is expanding the Vivo Casa options and, at the start of 2011, will include an option in the 5* top package allowing Internet surfing at a speed of up to 100 Mbit/s.

Available from mid-November 2010

The new bundled offerings will be available online from 15 November 2010 at www.swisscom.ch/vivocasa and in Swisscom Shops. Vivo Casa is replacing the successful Casa Trio combined package. Thanks to Casa Trio, Swisscom gained some 157,000 customers within a few months. Swisscom is expanding its popular range of combined packages and, in the form of Vivo Casa, is offering three packages that are tailored to customers' differing needs. Existing Casa Trio customers can continue to use their old product.

New: combined package for SMEs

A comprehensive communication solution is also being launched for SMEs, which means working in the office will become even simpler and involve less hassle. The SME Office combined package includes both a fixed-network and a high-speed Internet connection to create optimum working conditions. In addition, SME Office customers benefit from a flat rate for all calls to the Swiss fixed and mobile networks.

SME Office will be available to business customers from 1 December 2010 at a cost of CHF 114. This product is specifically tailored to SMEs' requirements and is characterised by budgetable monthly costs for making calls from a fixed-line connection and a high-speed Internet connection.
