November 25, 2008, Sunrise, Gewerkschaft Kommunikation, and the company’s staff committee began negotiations that could lead to a collective labour agreement.
Sunrise, its staff committee and the major Swiss labour union for communication workers decided to discuss the option of a collective labour agreement. With this step Sunrise is responding to a request of Gewerkschaft Kommunikation and underlining its commitment to the Swiss tradition of social partnership. At this point the result of the negotiations is completely open.
