Change of Leadership for Swisscom Investor Relations

Louis Schmid has been with the Swisscom Investor Relations team for fourteen years. Mario Rossi, Swisscom CFO said: “Mr Schmid has a considerable breadth and depth of experience of Swisscom and the ICT sector and is well respected by financial analysts and investors.” On 1 July, Louis Schmid will take over as successor to Bart Morselt, who has played a key role in shaping the relationship between Swisscom and the financial world since 2001. Bart Morselt is leaving Swisscom to return to his home country of the Netherlands, where he is to take on a new professional challenge in the field of investor relations.

Louis Schmid has a Licentiate in Economics and Social Sciences, is a Federally certified financial analyst and investment advisor and has an MAS in Corporate Finance. He has been working with the Swisscom Investor Relations team since 2000. Since 2008, he has been Chairman of the comPlan investment committee and member of the Foundation Board of the Swisscom pension fund. Since 2011, he has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Swisscom Immobilien and between 2011 and 2015, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Alphapay.
