December 17, 2008, Gottex Fund Management Holdings Limited (“Gottex”), a leading independent global alternative asset management group, is pleased to announce the following changes to its senior management organization. These changes are designed to strengthen the management structure and position Gottex for continued future success, and are as follows.
• Richard Leibovitch has been named Chief Investment Officer. In this newly-created position, Mr. Leibovitch will have responsibility for all Gottex investment products, and will retain responsibility as co-Portfolio Manager of the Market Neutral Funds. Mr. Leibovitch continues as a member of the firm’s Executive Management Committee and Head of the firm’s North American business.
• James Singh has been named a member of the firm’s Executive Management Committee, responsible for our Asian business and Head of our Hong Kong office. He will also assume responsibility as Portfolio Manager of the Gottex Tiger Fund Limited. Mr. Singh joined Gottex from Lehman Brothers earlier this year.
• Andre Keijsers has been named a member of the firm’s Executive Management Committee. Mr. Keijsers has primary responsibility for Corporate Strategy and Corporate Communications.
• For a while it has been the intention of Peter Bennett, Senior Investment Partner and member of the Executive Management Committee at Gottex, to retire during 2009 for personal reasons. After having spent over three years in Asia, he has decided that this will now take place at the end of Q1 2009. Mr. Bennett has been instrumental to the firm’s success and he has been the key driver of the development of the Asian business. Mr. Bennett will work closely with Mr. Singh over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.
