December 23, 2010, In the year 2011, there will be a change on the Board of Directors of Looser Holding AG in Arbon: Leo Looser, the former Chairman of the Board of Directors, will retire from office for reasons of age on the occasion of the general meeting on 28 April. The successor to be proposed to the general meeting by the Board of Directors is 50-yearold Andreas Stocker.
On the occasion of the annual general meeting on 28 April 2011, Leo Looser, aged 75, will retire from his office as member of the Board of Directors of Looser Holding AG. From the formation of Looser Holding in 2004 until the end of May 2009, he headed the Board of Directors as chairman and subsequently made his valuable experience available to the board as a member.
Leo Looser’s successor to be proposed for election to the general meeting by the Board of Directors is Andreas Stocker. Andreas Stocker, born in 1960, is a member of the Looser-Stocker family of entrepreneurs and shareholder group. Following basic training, he graduated from the Lausanne hotel management college and subsequently worked as a hotel manager at renowned hotels in Zurich and Hong Kong. Since 2006, he has been a full-time partner and member of the Board of Directors at BSS Capital Partners AG in Zurich. In addition, he has been serving as a partner and member of the Board of Directors at BSS&M Real Estate AG, a Zurich-based company specializing in real estate development, since 2008. Furthermore, Andreas Stocker is the proprietor and managing director of Charisma Management & Consulting AG, Zurich, as well as of Carvoeiro Clube Actividades Turisticas Lda. in Portugal.
The members of the Board of Directors of Looser Holding AG are: Dr. Rudolf Huber (chairman), Rudolf Hadorn, Leo Looser (until 28 April 2011), Thomas Lozser, Dr. Christian Wenger and Paul Zumbühl. Following the election of Andreas Stocker and including the existing member Thomas Lozser, the Looser-Stocker group of shareholders will continue to be represented on the Board of Directors by two members.
The Board of Directors of Looser Holding is convinced that, with his valuable international experience, Andreas Stocker will be able to support the Group in the implementation of its strategies and its further internationalization efforts.
