28.05.2010, With Swisscom TV, customers can now enjoy a 3D television experience in the comfort of their living rooms. Swisscom TV plus customers with a 3D television set can now receive 3D broadcasts at no additional cost. Fans of HD will not be disappointed either as the range of HD channels is to be expanded from 1 June.

Following on from high-definition (HD) TV, the next stage in the development of digital technology brings viewers a 3D television experience. The first channels, such as Servus TV and Anixe HD, are offering a number of selected events and programmes in 3D. Swisscom TV plus customers are well equipped for the future of television as no special Swisscom TV box is required to receive 3D television and there are no additional costs to pay. All they need is a 3D-ready and HD-compatible television set.

An exceptional TV experience with new HD channels
Swisscom is also continually expanding its range of high-definition channels. From 1 June it is adding the new English-language channel ITV HD, bringing the total to eight HD channels. France 2 HD, TF1 HD and M6 HD are set to follow in the coming months. Swisscom TV customers therefore benefit from an attractive basic offering, with over 140 TV channels and thousands of radio stations, as well as live sporting events from Teleclub and a comprehensive VoD offering - also in HD.
